How do I use my high speed Internet connection on new computer?
faisy26 asked:
I have a high speed cable connection on my computer, and bought a new computer with win.XP professional. I installed a NIC on it,it works fine, but when I try to use the Internet it says ” very small or no connectivity”. Does anyone know what should I do besides calling my provider?

Your new computer should already have a network card. Try that one and see if it makes a difference. That’s all I can think of with the info provided. Good Luck
do u have a static ip address, coz if you do you need to put that in ur tcp/ip settings… u also need to check if the cable ur using is a cross or straight…
