    yes……you need a ethernet card. you can buy them a radio shack or other places….

    depends if you have wireless card also … if you have broadband then get a wireless router and hook it up to the modem.

    Look at the back of your PC and see how your high speed connection is connected to it. You’ll probably need to buy a router and run both computers off of it. Your lap top will need a lan card if it does’nt already have one. This is so you can plug in the cat 5 jack from the router. This maybe more hassle than it’s worth though.There’s also a “wireless” router, but that will run up your costs more. And if you’ve never had the side off your computer, I’d probably pass on the idea.
