Cheapest way to have both a phone service and a high speed Internet connection?

What’d I Say asked:

I’ve got high speed Internet service of only 1 MB and a broadband phone connection from Comcast. I pay more than $80 per month. There’s got to be a way to get the same, if not better service, at a lower price. The only ISPs in my area providing high speed Internet are Comcast and Qwest.

You can keep your internet connection and sign up for Vonage. All you need for Vonage is an internet connection. They have plans from $15 and up. You can even have them transfer the number for you. $80 for phone and internet is too much.
